Bioimplant Scandinavia AB is part of the GS Development Group. GS Development, which was founded in 1992, is a company that turns unique ideas into commercial enterprises. The GS Development Group headquarters are situated in Malmö, in the Öresund region, with additional facilities in Lund and Gällivare and today the company has a turnover of 60 million Euros. Aimpoint AB, develops and produces red dot sights and other sophisticated sighting systems for hunters, policemen and militaries. The products are well recognised by both professionals and hunters.

Camurus AB, research development of pharmaceutical carriers for controlled drug delivery systems based on lipids. Benefits include relief with a minimum of drugs and fewer side effects.

GRANULDISK AB, develops and produces pot washing machines for professional kitchens in hospitals, restaurants, etc. In contrast to other washing machines, small plastic beads, granules, assist in the cleaning and they are reused in a closed system. Benefits are improved work environment and a cost-effective kitchen.

Bioimplant Scandinavia AB was founded in 2003, based upon a patent on finger joint implants. Today the company develops, produces and sells BioSpring®, an implant system for replacing damaged joints in fingers. The product’s unique feature is the constrained joint. This gives the articulation good mobility and lateral stability. The company is located in Malmö and collaborates with Malmö University Hospital (UMAS). The trademark BioSpring® is registered in several countries. Additional patents and design patents have been filed.
